Welcome to this website dedicated to the beauty and mystery of the Queen of flowers...the Rose! Over the years, my love affair with the rose has led me to explore unusual lighting, photographic and painting approaches in an effort to capture a sense of the casual perfection of these gems. The result is a series of paintings called 'The Silent Shrine Series'.

My intention is to create a clear, meditative, and spiritual dimension around these roses....the suspenseful silence of an old church...... with the light and shadows playing through the petals like stained glass windows.
